Recent Projects
Some of our recent key projects include:

Active Travel Paths
MBA supported Wagga Council with Project Management of the delivery and delivery of shared use path. The shared path, known as the Active Travel Paths, connects in rural and urban areas of the community and provides an alternate transport network. MBA managed and coordinated works across three stages of Wagga Council's 45km network.

Lake Albert Foreshore Remediation
MBA managed the remediation of the eroded foreshore of Lake Albert. Our involvement included tender management and site delivery, coordinating a design and construct contract with design intent and unique environmental and physical constraints, while maintaining public access and ensuring strong environmental and design outcomes. We are currently managing the delivery of a water transfer pipeline from the Murrumbidgee River to Lake Albert including associated pumping stations. This project is a major improvement to the Lake Albert precinct.

Jim Elphic Tennis Centre
The Jim Elphick Tennis Centre redevelopment saw the demolition of the old facility and new construction of 8x Grand Slam standard tennis courts, along with synthetic grass courts, netball courts, and pickleball courts, and a new clubhouse. MBA oversaw the tender, design refinement, and contract delivery of this $10M facility. We created a unique access system, with a centralized platform to allow operational control during events and afterhours bookings access.

Bill Jacobs Athletics Centre
The redevelopment of the Bill Jacobs Athletics Centre saw the complete redevelopment of the existing facility from turf to an all-weather, synthetic track meeting international standards with sports field lighting.
MBA oversaw the delivery of the project from preparation of tender documents through to construction and handover.

Strategic Planning for Local Water Utilities
We have recently completed the Water and Sewerage Strategic Plan for Cobar Shire Council and Cobar Water Board. We have also recently delivered a complete asset management package to Cabonne Shire Council in collaboration with subconsultants BetterAIM as part of their Water and Sewerage Strategic Planning project. We are currently providing financial modelling services to NSW Public Works for ten water and sewerage strategic planning projects across rural and remote NSW.

WTP Storage & Solar Shed
MBA remotely managed the delivery of a storage shed for Cobar Water. The 35x20m shed included a hardstand, workshop, and 100kW solar farm supporting the adjoining water treatment plant.
MBA remotely managed tender and construction with local contractors, with site visits as required, to oversee design, service proving, construction quality and compliance checks through to completion.

Potable Water Tank Relining
MBA oversaw the procurement and engagement of specialist relining contractors to seal the potable water tank in remote Cobar. Specialist contractors were engaged from out of town, and MBA arranging local contractor support with plant and equipment, to maintain potable water supply to the town while the main town reservoir was offline.

Cootamundra Flood Plain Management Program
We are managing the delivery of the Floodplain Management Program for Cootamundra and Coolamon Shire Councils. We work closely with Council, DCCEEW representatives and specialist consultants to deliver all phases of the Program, including grant applications, Flood Studies, Floodplain Risk Management Plans and Feasibility Studies.
